The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal and there are no color restrictions.

The ceremony and some of the reception will take place outdoors (weather permitting) – please keep this in mind when choosing footwear!

Flights

We recommend flying to one of the two Paris international airports: Orly Airport (ORY) or Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG). ORY is about 25 minutes closer to the venue (by car), but CDG tends to offer cheaper flights.

Driving in France

Since the venue is in the countryside, having a car will be the easiest way to get around and explore the area! We recommend coordinating with other familiar guests and splitting a rental car between ~4 people.

If you want to drive in France, you need an International Driving Permit (IDP). It's a law in France, sadly. You can get one from AAA online and it will be mailed to you. I received mine already and did the entire process here: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html

Alternative Transportation

There's a train that goes from downtown Paris (Paris Gare d'Austerlitz) to a nearby town called Bonneval. From there, it's about a 15 minute drive to the Chateau de Bouthonvilliers.

Uber is also very popular in France, so you could take an Uber from Bonneval to the venue. You can also schedule an Uber from Paris to the venue, but it's a little pricey.

Catered dinner will be provided on August 27th and August 29th. Catered brunch will be provided on August 30th. We will also make sure that there are some breakfast foods available when you arrive.

There are grocery stores in the nearby towns as well as vegetables and alcohol for sale on site. All of the kitchens on the premises are fully equipped for cooking!
